The Arizer Air costs upwards of $200 and is one of more the expensive units on the market. However, we find it to be one of the best portable vaporizers you can buy and that it even outperforms other more expensive units such as the Pax 2.

Arizer is a company that has been around for a long time and certainly not new to the vaporizer industry. They are by far one of the most respected manufacturers in the world and been producing both quality portable and desktop vaporizers for years, all of which are products that originally designed themselves. In today’s market, you see a lot of new companies with a product that looks exactly the same as another one. That’s because it actually is and these companies are simply re-branding a product designed by a factory in China. These products can still be good, however, it’s nowhere near the quality you can expect from a company such Arizer.
Not only do they dedicate the proper time to research and development, they also do quality control inspections to ensure their manufacturing process.

With their fantastic reputation, comes an equally fantastic warranty. The heating element of the Arizer Air comes with a life-time warranty. This really speaks to the confidence they have in their product. Additionally, the Air utilizes interchangeable 18650 lithium ion batteries so you never have to worry about it dying and needing to replace the entire device. The only parts not covered under warranty are the glass stems that come with it.
Heat-up Time
The Arizer Air takes around 2 minutes to fully heat up. This is definitely on the longer side in comparison to other portable vaporizers and is something to consider if you’re going to be vaping during time-constrained periods.
Battery Life & Power Supply
This unit utilizes interchangeable 18650 batteries which is a great feature to have. There is no worse feeling than being out with your portable vaporizer and having it die on you when you go to use it. With the interchangeable design, you can simply carry an extra battery and prevent that problem from occurring. The Arizer Air vaporizer also has pass-through charging, which means you can the device even while it’s charging.
Vapor Quality
The vapor quality of the Arizer Air is absolutely 2nd to none. It’s a hybrid convection/conduction heating style that features an all glass air-way path. The all glass air-way path is one of the best delivery methods and produces a very clean, smooth vapor. It also has very little draw resistance which makes it easier to get huge hits from. Overall, the quality is extremely impressive.
Portability
The Arizer Air has a length of approx. 7 inches with mouthpiece attached and has a diameter of approx. 4 inches. The unit fits very comfortably in hand and is small enough to travel with.
Ease of Use
All around the Arizer Air is a fairly simple herbal vaporizer that is easy to get accustomed to. It has only 1 button which allows you to turn the unit either on or off as well as cycle through the temperature settings. One aspect some may find difficult is the initial insertion of the glass stem into the heating element. Since the glass stems are not covered under warranty, it’s important to be careful doing this.
Heating and Temperature Regulators
The Air has 5 temperature settings which are indicated via the LED on the front of the screen. While the unit is in operation, press the up and down buttons to switch between the following settings:
- Setting 1 (Blue) – 180°C / 356°F
- Setting 2 (White) – 190°C / 374°F
- Setting 3 (Green) – 200°C / 392°F
- Setting 4 (Orange) – 205°C / 401°F
- Setting 5 (Red) – 210°C / 410°F
