The Atmos Orbit is one of the first vaporizers produced by Atmos that is a true dry herb vaporizer as opposed to the electric pipes they were previously producing.

How It Looks
When you first go to un-box the Atmos Orbit you will find that it is quite large for a “pen” styled vaporizer. However, the Orbit has an elegance about it that makes it very appealing. The battery is covered by a leather base which gives it a very nice feel and provides a good grip. This is actually almost necessary for this unit because you don't want to be holding the anodized heating chamber which can get pretty hot (at least hot enough for them to put a warning sign on it).
Ease Of Use & Maintenance
The Atmos Orbit comes completely assembled right out of the box so that literally the only thing you need to do is insert your dry herbs and hold the power button down. In less than just 40 seconds you are ready to start vaping, which is an incredible heat up time for a portable vape. This is vape is also very easy to clean and maintain.
Vapor Quality & Taste
This is where the Atmos Orbit is a notch above the competition. The vapor quality produced from the unit is just incredible. The embedded heating chamber of this unit operates around 375 degrees – the result is a steady vapor that tastes great. The vapor stream produced by the Atmos Orbit is a medium-sized one, it is definitely not over-powering. This is great for those of you who may prefer a nice smooth hit, however, if you prefer to blow out huge clouds of vapor you will be better off with the Atmos Boss.
One last thing that is important to note is that vapor produced by the Atmos Orbit portable vaporizer is cool and smooth when inhaling it. I've found this not to be the case with many other portable vaporizers, most notably the Pax where the vapor can get pretty warm and feel uncomfortable.
Battery Life
The battery life of the Atmos Orbit is one of the only drawbacks you will find. The battery can last for around 6 to 7 complete vaping sessions on a fully charged battery. This means you have to be aware to have the device charged every time before you leave the house. While this can definitely be inconvenient, it is unfortunately the same way for almost all other portable dry herb vaporizers on the market. The reason for this is because all of the true vaporizers require a lot of power in order to heat up and function properly which drains the battery very quickly. The only portable vapes that are going to have battery life that will last a span of several days are the vape pens with heating coils which produce smoke rather than vapor.
